냉소자 (naeng-soh-ja) is Korean for a cynical or sarcastic person, distrustful of human nature. What better for a political scientist?

David Tully is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Behavior and International Realtions at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. If you are hiring, please look at his (rather limited) website.

He is currently teaching International Political Economy and International Relations at Northwestern University and finishing his dissertation on public opinion and International Relations in East Asia. He has taught everything from Asian American Politics to Comparative Parties and Elections, and has published work on American Attitudes towards Asia with his adviser, Benjamin I. Page. His current projects include a research note on designing surveys for internet panels and, of course, his dissertation, which explores public opinion and nationalism in Northeast Asia.

Professionally, he has worked in both public programming and studies for The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and before entering his doctoral program, he worked for Kasirer Consulting in New York raising money for Democratic candidates.
